A backcountry ski course is a challenging yet rewarding experience
Exploring the mountains in winter provides many interesting opportunities to study photography, climatology, alpine flora and fauna, snow metamorphism, avalanche mechanics and more. Our specialty is courses for young adults and people new to
backcountry skiing. These mountains are spectacular, our guides
are professionals, our courses are unforgettable.
Dream of becoming a backcountry skier? In this era of x- games and ski movies it is essential for people to first learn how to be safe and responsible in the mountains, and then build up to skiing the line of your dreams. “You can go out on your own and learn the hard way, but it’s safer and more fun to learn from professionals with years of experience.” Michael Barton Lead Guide.
Our courses are taught by backcountry ski guides and experienced ski mountaineers. We hold Safety as the top priority, followed closely by enjoyment.
Why ski in the Backcountry? It’s environmentally friendly, it makes you strong, it’s genuine real life adventure, it’s challenging yet enjoyable, and after the uphill comes the sweet reward of the downhill.
